“With Fire and Sword” is a novel by Polish Nobel-prize winner writer
from XIXth century.
The action of the novel is set in the XVIIth century in Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth
and Sich (centre of the Zaporozhian Cossacks) during the Chmielnicki Uprising.
